OBJECTS

  • To achieve a major decrease in residential crime through saturation of the Block Watch program.

  • To increase the identification and reporting of suspicious activities

  • To promote neighbourhood cohesiveness

  • Blocks are geographically contained - usually 30-40 homes back alley to alley. However, this is not always possible, and blocks are split according to the number of homes.

  • Crossroads Block Watch is governed by the Board of Directors, however, all residents must take an active part in the program to ensure the continued success, involvement, and maintenance of the program. Residential crime prevention is everyone's responsibility!

  • A quarterly newsletter provides residents with detailed crime information, crime trends, and ways to reduce the possibility of being victimized.
